We are a growing movement dedicated to connecting and empowering young married Jewish Latin women and men to build meaningful lives rooted in Jewish values.
Through transformative experiences, including immersive retreats, community gatherings, leadership initiatives, and educational programs, we create opportunities for deep connection, personal growth, and stronger relationships.
We believe that strong Jewish homes are the foundation of a strong future. Our mission is to inspire couples to live with purpose, strengthen their Jewish identity, and build strong Jewish homes that will shape the future of Jewish life for generations to come.
OUR STORY
Where It Began & Where We’re Going
Jewish Latin Connection was founded in 2019 by Jessica Klein and her husband, Leon Klein, after recognizing a growing need within the community. Many young Jewish Latin couples had recently moved from South America to the U.S., particularly to Miami, and found themselves without the strong sense of community they were used to back home. Many arrived without family, without close connections, and without the support system needed during the early years of marriage.
Driven by a deep passion for sharing Torah values and strengthening Jewish identity, they created JLC to offer meaningful opportunities for couples to grow and build strong, values-driven homes within a supportive and welcoming community.
Since then, JLC has expanded beyond Miami, impacting young Jewish Latin couples across the United States and Latin America who have joined our in-person retreats and online educational programs. Through these experiences, we have helped hundreds of families strengthen their relationships, deepen their identity, and build a vibrant and enduring Jewish future.
